Be careful of the “mind crimes” that are on this board - such as “be careful of a US based IP address when you want to be listed in the UK”. Your IP address has nothing to do with it - instead it is the TDL (Top Level Domain). Some people on this service hear or read about something and they pass it off as truth without testing.

The only issue you need to know about your host is:

1. Are they reliable (up time)
2. Is the IP address they give you clean?
3. Can they be trusted (do they sell your log files?)
